Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx), or RTF document file format.
  • Research Paper Content. Ensure that the paper focuses on the conference theme, Economy, Education, Technology, and Environment. Clearly state the objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions in the paper. Verify that the paper contributes new insights or findings to the field.
  • The bibliography management for ICEETE follows the American Psychological Association 7th Edition. It is recommended to use the Mendeley application for bibliography writing and citations.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Writing Style and Format. Write the paper in clear and concise English, ensuring proper grammar and sentence structure. Utilize the prescribed conference template for formatting and citation style. Check for spelling and typographical errors. Ensure the paper adheres to the specified word limit.
  • Review the paper's content, use plagiarism detection tools like Turnitin, and aim for a similarity index of less than 15% for originality.
  • Organize the paper by ensuring it has a clear structure, including all necessary sections and proper headings and subheadings.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to the ICEETE conference series on economy, education, technology, and environment should adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Original Research Paper. The manuscript should consist of original research work that contributes significantly to the fields of economy, education, technology, and environment science. It should present novel ideas, concepts, findings, or solutions to existing problems in these disciplines.
  2. Electronic Submission. Authors are required to submit their papers electronically using the ICEETE online submission procedure. The online submission system can be accessed on the official ICEETE conference website. Please follow the instructions provided on the website for uploading your manuscript.
  3. Non-Simultaneous Consideration. The corresponding author must confirm that the submitted manuscript is not under concurrent consideration for publication elsewhere. It is essential to ensure that the manuscript has not been previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere.
  4. Strict Adherence to Submission Procedure. Authors are expected to strictly adhere to the submission procedures outlined on the ICEETE conference website. Failure to follow these procedures may result in the rejection of the manuscript by the editors.
  5. Ethical Considerations. Authors are responsible for ensuring the ethical conduct of their research. Any potential conflicts of interest, funding sources, or ethical approval, if applicable, should be disclosed in the manuscript.
  6. Structure and Formatting. The manuscript should be well-organized and structured. It should include an abstract, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references. Please follow the provided template and formatting guidelines, ensuring proper citation and referencing.
  7. Language and Clarity. Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English. Authors are encouraged to have their manuscripts proofread by English language experts to ensure clarity and readability.
  8. Academic Integrity. Plagiarism or any form of academic misconduct is strictly prohibited. Authors are expected to appropriately cite and reference all sources used in their research.
  9. Length Restrictions. There may be limitations on the maximum length of the manuscript, including figures, tables, and references. Please refer to the conference guidelines for specific details regarding length restrictions.
  10. Review and Publication. Manuscripts will undergo a thorough review process by expert reviewers to assess their quality, relevance, and contribution to the conference topics. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings or other scholarly publications associated with the conference.
